Thousands of online participants are expected to take part in the classic offshore Virtual Rolex China Sea Race from Hong Kong to Subic Bay, Philippines starting Wednesday 28 March.

Established in 1962, the 565nm China Sea Race is one of the worlds’ emblematic races. Run under the auspices of RORC, the race is open to IRC racers, classic yachts as well as multihulls including Karl Kwok’s MOD 70 Beau Geste, who is aiming to beat the race record held since 2016 by the RP66 Alive of 47h 31m 08s.
