The IRC Premier Division of the 2026 Rolex China Sea Race brings together four of the fleet’s most elegant and distinguished offshore yachts—each carrying its own legacy, strengths, and ambitions for the 565nm passage to Subic Bay.
Fenice – Solaris 60 owned by Franco Cutrupia
Fresh off a commanding performance in the 2025 Hong Kong to Hainan Race, where she claimed both Line Honours and IRC Overall, Fenice is taking part in their first China Sea Race. The Solaris 60 is renowned for its balance of luxury and offshore capability, and under Rosario Pedicini’s leadership, she has quickly become a yacht to watch.

Parnassus – Swan 56 owned by Thomas Attenborough
Standing firmly in her way is the impeccably prepared Swan 56 Parnassus, winner of the Premier Division in the 2024 Rolex China Sea Race. Sleek, powerful, and consistent across varying sea states, Parnassus is expected to mount a serious challenge once again.

Moonblue 2 – Custom Warwick 64 owned by Peter Churchouse
One of the most iconic and enduring names in the race, Moonblue 2 returns once again under the steady hand of Peter Churchouse. A consistent participant in the South China Sea crossing for over 20 years, this Custom Warwick 64 represents the heart and heritage of offshore sailing in the region.

Lisa Elaine – Bavaria 56 owned by Carl Wilkinson
Rounding out the Premier line-up is Lisa Elaine, Carl Wilkinson’s Bavaria 56. Comfortable, capable, and built for long‑distance performance, she brings a robust offshore platform into the mix.

PHS division
The PHS Division returns in 2026 with a competitive and closely matched fleet, featuring two experienced teams ready to take on the challenge again.
Leading the line-up is Bradley Wilkins aboard his Oceanis 50 Blowers Daughter. After securing 1st place in the PHS Division on his debut appearance, Wilkins returns with confidence and valuable offshore miles under his belt.

Joining him is Sunny Leung’s Oceanis 46 Jibulai, also back for its second Rolex China Sea Race. With solid cruising‑racer characteristics and a dependable offshore crew, Jibulai is expected to challenge hard across the South China Sea.
